UGGHHHHHH!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! that is how I feel today. Just ugh! I am having trouble with one of my friends in band. Last year she was one of my best friends, and up until like 2 months ago,we did everything together. Now she is hanging out with the upperclassmen and I am invisible. It is awful! I just hope my day gets better!

Hello

Hello! Just thought I would post. Nothing going on but band. So far we are a straight superior band!! We got straight superiors at FBA, a competition that all the upperclassmen said we would get 2's on. They haven's gotten straight superiors there (or an overall superior) since 2005!!!

And that my friends is called WINNING!

We had our first competition last Saturday and we got straight superiors!!!!!!! My band has never done that before!! We were all freaking out!!!

Charlie

So, we got a dog. This is our Charlie. His is a 5 year old Lhasa-poo. He is so loveable and sweet! We got him on Friday and it feels like we have had him forever! We rescued him from a shelter. He is amazing!

Tropical Storm Irene.

So, we made it through our first tropical storm. We got outer bands but still. The picture of the peir has waves going 1/2 way up and spray going over the top...the pier is 30 feet from water to top. Then national seashore road is closed...sand blew over the road. And since our sand is white it looked like snow! It was weird!!!!

Stuff 'n things.

So, it's the second week of school. It's going pretty good. High school is harder than I thought it would be!!!
We have our first football game on Friday...and the band is marching our first song of our show...YIKES!!!!! Leila and I are already nervous! We will do good...as long as we can remember the drill!

Wow, ok so I failed, again at posting. SOrry!!!
I have had a lot go on! I went to Tampa with CCY (my KY youth group) for a mission trip....that was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! Then Abbey came down for a week!That was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then I had band camp....8 hours a day for 2 weeks. I SURVIVED!!!!!!!!! School starts on monday....Highschool....YIKES!

1 Year.

Wow. Has it really been 1 year since we moved here??? It feels like so long ago and yet just yesterday. We love St.Paul and we love the beach!! I am so thankful for all my friends here. I have great friends,to many to mention at band and youth and some realy good "little brothers" at church!!!

Rookie camp

Well, last week was rookie camp. I learned how to march, and started to learn how to play the music. Well, on Tuesday I was so frustrated and tired I got in the car and was in tears. The music is in a time signature I have never even heard of, let alone play! But, I got it!!! I can pretty much play the opener and on one of the other songs I can play most of it, so that's good! It was hard!!! I had to get up at 6:30 all week and was on my feet till 12. But, it was fun!! Lots of funny times, but hard times as well. I will say how ever that I am not looking forward to the all day band camp in Aug.

WEekend with Abbey, and weekend with The Whortons

So, 2 weeks ago, we took a trip back home. We went back to KY. It is still home, even though we have been in Florida for almost a year. St.Paul is home, my youth group is home, and band is home, but as a whole Kentucky is way more home than Florida. We all love KY. We got into Wilmore and I swore Abbey was going to knock her mom down getting out her door when I knocked on it. I was in tears, she was in tears, it was amazing!!! Then we had a sleepover with Haley, and on Saturday we, mom, dad, Haley, Abbey and I, went to this AMAZING Mediteranian resturaunt! Then Abbey and I walked uptown and met one of my friends, Isaac, uptown and hung out with him for a while. THen She went to church and I hung out with Haley then we went out to eat with Dad's sunday school class. Over all, a great weekend!!!

THen, this past weekend my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins came. We spent most of the weekend on the beach!! My baby cousin spent most of the week asleep on my chest!! It was so cute!!

Ahhhh, almost summer!

And so it begins...

Rookie camp started last night...we hardly did anything and we were all exausted!!! We learned how to stand in attention and how to do parade rest. Unfortunatly, we have our 8th grade band banquet on monday, and since I can't audiditon, I will not be doing Willy Wonka. :( witch is probably a good thing because as much as I want to be in a play, I honestly don't think I can physically or mentally go from band camp during the day, to play practice at night...I will be exaused! So, Willy Wonka is out :( but band is in full force!!!

Confirmation

Today me, and 7 other kids got confirmed today. These are pictures of me and my little brother, aka Kathan, and me and DeDe, who is my sponser. It was a great day, dad dunked all of us in the ocean, we had cake and juice. Then Grandma Rob took us (me, mom,dad, ma-ma and Dayle) out to dinner. Great day!!!

Whoa!

So, it's only May and my life is going CRAZY!
This weekend Mama, Dayle and Great Grandma Rob are coming, next weekend I am getting to see my bff, the weekend after that, Uncle Zane, Aunt Kim, Isaac and Ian are coming then we got to Panama City with mom's family for a week, and in through there I have to finish school for the year, a band concert, band banquet, marching band camp starts, aditions for Willy Wonka with Kathan, and youth. Then if I make WIlly Wonka, I will have band camp during the day, and play practice at night! DANG!!! My summer hasn't even started and I am already tired!!!!

Easter...late, but here it is.

HEEEYY!!

Hello people!!
Last week I finished 8th grade Science! I will finish 8th grade Language Arts and History in a couple of weeks and in about a month I will be done with middle school (other than band) for good! In May marching band camp starts...YIKES! The good thing is I know the flute section leader from the highschool from All South, so that's good.

Last weekend I went on a youth retreat called Discovery...it was AWSOME!! Had so much fun with my friends and I realized that people hang out with me because I'm me and not because I'm the new girl. That was an AWSOME feeling to realize!!

Band....well, is HARD! We are getting a concert together to raise money for Japan and the music is HAAARRRRDDD!! Today I realized that it is hard being section leader somedays because the section was looking to me and Leila (who is 2nd chair) wanting us to carry them through this song, or wondering where we were, and Leila and I were lost too.

This weekend is Easter, should be fun! I got these AMAZING shoes! They are pink and kinda look like snake skin, but they are high heels, THAT ARE NOT CHUNKY HEELS!! THey are real heels!! I am so excited! On Friday I am going to spend most of the day with Leila then spend the night at her house for her birthday then on Saturday I'm going to go see "Soul Serfer" with some people from St. Paul. THen we get to Sunday...Oh boy! I have to get up at like, 5:30 to be out at the sight of the sunrise service by 6:30 cause dad's the pastor!! YIPPID-DE-DO-DA-DAY!But, the good thing is me, Kathan, and Skylar are going to be in a skit!

OH! Kathan and Skylar, that reminds me!! Kathan is like my little brother (I'm not even joking, he's said it, we act like brother and sister, it's fun!) and Skylar (my "Little sister") were in a play last week, "Robin Hood" and Kathan was Robin!!! THey were so good in it!!!!

An update on well, ME!

Ok, so here we go, an update on me starting with school: I am finishing up science for the year, (only had 3 modules to do) Then 1 module left in language, and 2 in math and 2 in history once I finish the modules I'm in. I have also decided to stay homeschooled next year, but I will go to the public school for band (YEAH!) and I have decided to join the acting class, MUSICALS HERE I COME! I am so excited because I love acting, and since we moved from IL I haven't had the oppertunity to act much.

Band: Band is going great! We got done with district, excelents over all in advanced and goods in intermediate. I played with both because I was helping the intermediate band out, the flutes needed some help. Little did I know that we wouldn't be together at this one part and the day before we played in front of judges, Mrs. Trevino says "Ok, you two drop out here and Jordan, you just play." HA! I did, and I DIDN'T FAIL! Actually, Everyone said I did good!! We are currently working on music for a concert for Japan, to raise money to send to Japan.

Friends: Well, as far as friends go, I'm doing great! My friend Leila is awsome, and I have friends in Youth, church and band. But, I am very excited because one of my friends from my KY youth group is coming over tomorrow!!

Youth: Well, as usual, youth keeps me busy! I am going on a youth retreat this weekend and continue to go every sunday and wednesday.

Church: church is AWSOME! St. Paul is so sweet! We love it there! I am doing confirmation this year.

WHEW!!! That was a lot ot type!!! But, I think I covered everything. SO, there you go. You have just gotten an update on me. More to come next time I write!

All South

SO I went to All South with my band...talk about fun!!! We stayed for 4 days and then had a concert. It was awsome!!!!!!!

My birthday

So, this past week was my birthday, I GOT MAKEUP!!!!!! It is cool!!! This is a pic of me with my makeup. I also go Harry Potter world, All South, a phone, book, gift cards and a shirt. (From Mom, dad, and Aunt Jen and Grammy.) It is awsome!

WONDER, MELTDOWN 2011

SO, last weekend I went to Panama City for Meltdown, a big youth retreat where they have a band and speakers. Well, normaly they only have one speaker, but this year the speakers were a drama group. It was amazing...with the exeption of the food! No one likes the food at the hotel. The band at one point said "it has been so great hanging out with you guys, all the good food." and me and a couple of my friends looked at each other and said "what good food? where have they been eating!"
It was amazing!!!!! Came at a good weekend to, because one of the seniors at Navarre High died of brain cancer the day we left and several of the highschool boys played football ether on his team or against, so on Saturday night when we had our intense night, (if you wanted to you could go up and just say into the mic, I wonder----you fill in the blank with a question for God) several of my youth group people said something about Ian (the boy). He also used to go to my youth group for a while, so most of my youth group knew him. I didn't but it is still sad.
It was an amazing weekend and I can't wait till next year!!!

My birthday Trip to Harry Potter world in Universal STudios

So, for my 14th birthday, I wanted a trip to Harry Potter world. IT was AMAZING! I got butterbear (glorified cream soda, but they drink it in the books) walked around Hogsmeade,went inside Honeydukes, Zonko's and Durvish and Bangs. It was a great trip! My favorite ride was call "the Forbbiden Journey" witch is when you go inside Hogwarts and fly around and in and out of Hogwarts on a motion simulator ride, but you witch between movie and inside Hogwarts, or the forest or the Chamber of Secrets! It was amazing!

AND on the way to Orlando, I got a call from one of my frinds, I MADE ALL SOUTH! AND there are only 2 middle schools going! IT is a Highschool band in MS for the south! I am soooo excited!

Fail

I failed...again. sorry. How about an update really quick? I didn't make All-COunty, CHristmas was great, (minus the fact i was sick on Christmas day with the flu) and Band is goign great! I tried out for and All-South band and find out the resaults on Friday.
